Povidone Iodine (PVPI) is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent widely used for skin disinfection, wound care, and surgical antisepsis. It is a complex of iodine and polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) polymer, which allows controlled release of iodine, thereby reducing irritation and enhancing stability. Povidone Iodine is effective against a wide range of pathogens, including bacteria, fungi, viruses, and protozoa. SQ-Agrosil 195 is a mixture of organic silicon surfactant, non-ionic surfactant and palm oil extract. The appearance is colorless to yellowish transparent liquid. It can be used to O/W emulsions with excellent stability without consideration of the HLB value of the oil phase. No require neutralization or heating during production, not only can be used for cold processed, and also for thickening cationic aqueous systems.
