SQ-OP 31N is a liquid opacifier based on Styrene/Acrylamide Copolymer. Its outstanding advantage is its nonionic nature, which ensures it does not react with cationic ingredients—such as quaternary ammonium compounds, cationic guar, or other cationic surfactants—commonly used in shampoos, conditioners, shower gels, and laundry detergents. This eliminates risks of flocculation, precipitation, or stratification, guaranteeing uniform appearance and long‑term stability even in complex formulations. The nonionic structure also provides broad pH tolerance and electrolyte resistance, allowing reliable performance in high‑mineral or multi‑surfactant systems. At low dosages (0.1%–1.0%), it delivers high whiteness, masks amber tones, and boosts dye effectiveness.

SQ-OP 31N (Styrene/Acrylamide Copolymer) suits both personal care (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) and household products (liquid laundry detergents, dishwashing liquids, hard surface cleaners). In cationic‑rich formulas, it can be safely added without interfering with conditioning or softening effects. It is a ready‑to‑use liquid; add at the final production step after pH adjustment, pre‑dilute with at least 4 parts water, and mix slowly with good agitation.
